Regional Minister´s Retreat

I am the regional director of all of the Verbo da Vida churches in the states of Sergipe and Bahia. We recently held our annual minister´s retreat for our region. Pastor Gary Hoffman, my pastor, was our guest speaker. Our people were really edified by his teaching from the Word. He also brought his youth pastor, Tom Hooks, who also blessed everyone with the Word. Several ministers said that it was the best retreat to date.

Youth Group in Angola - Africa

I was in Africa for the first time recently. It was a great experience. I never imagened that one day I would be speaking the language of Africa. Angola is one of the few countries in the world that speak portuguese. I taught in the RHEMA Minister´s School there. I also taught in one of there youth meetings as well as in the church on Sunday morning. Thirty-one people came forward to give there lives to Jesus.

RHEMA Minister´s School in Campina Grande

Once again, Darren travelled to the RHEMA Minister´s School in Campina Grande where he ministered on the subject of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. He had some wonderful classes and many were enlightened in this specific area of ministry.

Minister´s Conference in São Paulo

Darren and Edma recently went to Atibaia in the state of São Paulo for the annual Verbo da Vida Minister´s Conference. It was a great time of refreshing and fellowship for all of the ministers there. One of the guest speakers there was Marty Blackwelder. Marty travelled with Kenneth Hagin for many years in the United States. Darren interpreted for him, and the results were wonderful.

Verbo da Vida Church in Brasília

Following Darren´s classes in the Bible school in Brasília, he also had the opportunity to preach at the Verbo da Vida church there. It was a wonderful service. Many were blessed by the Word and several recieved prayer at the end of the service. The highlight of the night was that twelve people came forward to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

RHEMA Minister´s School in Brasília

Darren had the opportunity to teach a brand new class in the RHEMA Minister´s School in Brasília. The class was on Youth and Young Adult ministry. Darren actually put together all of the curriculum for this class so that it can be taught from now on. Many were blessed and had their eyes opened about this very important ministry.

Leadership Meeting

Darren recently ministered to our leaders in one of our leadership meetings at the church. It was a powerful time. The Holy Spirit really fell on us in a special way. Many were motivated and edified, and their were several prophetic words brought forth.

Pijama Night

Our church had another "Pijama Night" for the women. We had about eighty women participating. Edma ministered the Word of God and ministered specifically to some women. Darren stayed in the kitchen, helping make food to feed everybody. No one slept very much, but it was a blessing.

First Service in Brazil

This is a picture from our first service after arriving back in Brazil. Darren ministered communion. Many were refreshed with the Word and happy to finally receive their pastors back.

Back in Brazil

This is a shot of Brandon and Emily shortly after arriving back in Brazil. We had a great flight. Thanks to all who prayed for us to have a blessed trip!

RMAI Luncheon

Darren and Edma were able to participate at a luncheon with other RHEMA minister´s from their district. It was a rare opportunity, since most of their time is spent out of the country. We had a great time and got to meet some wonderful men and women of God.

Church Victorious

Darren ministered on Sunday at Church Victorious in Roanoke, VA. It is a satellite church from Faith Fellowship, which is our home church. Darren was sent out of the church to begin his missions work over thirteen years ago. Pastor Gary and Diane are our spiritual father and mother in the Lord. We are so grateful to them for all that they have put into us. The service was really good. Many were touched by the Word that was ministered.

Church Alive

We recently ministered at Church Alive in Roanoke, VA. The church is pastored by Carey and Vannie Harrell. They have phenomenal praise and worship. We are so blessed every time that we minister there. The service was anointed and many were blessed. We are so thankful for our partnership with this outstanding church.

Grace Family Church

Edma and I had the priviledge to minister for the very first time at Grace Family Church in Vinton, VA. It really is a fantastic church with a spirit of excellence. We had a really good service. At the end of Darren's teaching, Edma had a prophetic word for the youth group. Many were touched and blessed by her words. After the service we had a great time with Pastor Tommy and DeLisa Figart and their staff. They are all outstanding people. We are so thankful to God for their friendship.

Victory Fellowship

Darren ministered today at Victory Fellowship in Collinsville, Virginia. The church is pastored by Gary and Brenda Martin. Darren and Edma have had the priviledge of ministering in this church for about the last five years. There was a sweet anointing in the service and the congregation recieved the Word of God so well. It has been a great joy to see this church grow from a small group in a post office building, to the quality ministry that it is today.

Faith Fellowship Church

Darren recently had the opportunity to minister in Faith Fellowship Church in Wirtz, Virginia. This is Darren's home church pastored by Gary and Diane Hoffman. It was in this church that everything began for Darren's ministry over fifteen years ago. Darren and Edma are eternally grateful for this church and for all the love and support that they have received from Pastor Gary and Diane through all of these years.

Catholic Church

Darren had his very first opportunity to preach in a Catholic Church while in Argentina. As you could imagine, this is a very rare experience. He preached in portuguese as his interpreter translated into spanish. The church was full and the people recieved well.

Mission Trip to Argentina

This was Darren's first mission trip to Argentina. Together with Word of Life Ministry, Darren and Edma will be sending out a couple from their church to plant a church in that country. God is expanding the ministry more and more.

RHEMA Minister's School in Brasília

Darren taught his class on "Growing in the Ministry" in Brasília, the capital of Brazil. Although he has lived in Brazil for the last twelve years, it was his first time visiting this city.
